    The Hong Kong Football club employs a staff of 310 people across a wide range of sports facilities management, food and beverage, administration, security, and other skills areas.

    As well as full-time careers with development supported by professional training and on-the-job coaching, the Club also provides summer work and internships for young Hong Kong people and part-time work on flexible working arrangements.

    Job Opportunities

    Waiter/ Waitress - Restaurant

    Department: Food and Beverage

    Responsibilities:

    • Providing quality food and beverage service to members and guests, according to Club Specifications
    • Able to set up of service area and equipment with necessary supplies
    • Ability to multi-tasks and eyes for details
    • Works Courteously and efficiently
    • Split shift may be required

    Requirements:

    • F.5 standard or certificate holder of F&B in IVE
    • Minimum of 1 years' food and beverage service experience
    • Certification of previous training in liquor, wine preferably
    • Good communication skills in both English & Cantonese
    • Pleasant personality and customer oriented
    • Candidate with less experience will be considered for the position of Junior Waiter/ Waitress

    Technician

    Department: Engineering

    Job Specification

    • Runs the daily operation of the Engineering Department and repair works in the Club premises
    • Shift duties

    Job Requirement

    • F.5 Graduate
    • Holder of the Green Card and EMSD Certificate of Registration of Electrical Worker
    • 3-5 years of electric works experience
    • Knowledge of AC and AV connections will be an advantage

    Security Officer

    Department: Security

    Job Description:

    • To identify Club members to enter the club premises
    • To perform patrols and ensure that security and order are being maintained in the Club premises

    Job Requirement:

    • Form 5 graduate or equivalent qualification
    • A minimum of 2 years' prior training and experience in security service
    • Able to speak fluent English and Cantonese and write simple English
    • Holder of valid security personnel permit is preferable

    Quality Assurance Training Manager

    Department: Food and Beverage

    Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for upkeep and administration of the Club’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)
    • Ensures new SOP’s are developed, approved and published in timely manner
    • Development and implementation of service based training, works with operational managers to identify training needs.
    • Develops training plans, budgets and schedules
    • Oversight and administration of Food Hygiene and Safety practice and training
    • In collaboration with Executive Chef, establishes operating procedures for Food Handling (receiving, storage, preparation, holding and service) which are equivalent or compliant with HACCP requirements (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points)

    Qualifications and Requirements:

    • Four to five years working in similar position within the Hospitality Industry in a four to five star rated operation.
    • Working knowledge of HACCP requirements and / or other internationally recognized Food Safety standards, and working knowledge of Standard Operating Procedures.
    • Bachelor Degree in Human Resources, Hospitality or related discipline.
    • Multilingual Cantonese / English (spoken and written)
    • Strong interpersonal and communications skills
    • Strong administrator – good PC skills including Power Point, Word, Excel and Chinese word processing.
    • Ability to work independently and/or within a team

    Cook A (Cold/ Main Kitchen)

    Department: Food & Beverage

    Job Summary :

    1. To help ensure smooth and efficient operation of the allocated section
    2. Responsible for efficient control, stocking, dispensing and security of all commodities used.
    3. Ensure production of all food is completed to the members satisfaction and to the standards required by the company.
    4. Striving to delight or members and guests each and every time.

    Major duties and responsibilities

    1. To recommend improvements and changes to the immediate Section Head.
    2. To work towards achieving agreed objectives and targets.
    3. To promote a helpful and professional image to the client and colleagues.
    4. To give full co-operation to any member requiring assistance, with a prompt, caring and helpful attitude.
    5. To ensure members needs are anticipated to enhance service quality and thus, client satisfaction.
    6. To ensure accurate and regular communication is taking place departmentally and interdepartmentally complying with the club policies on departmental meetings.
    7. Supervise accurate preparation of guest meals ensuring standards are maintained and developed.
    8. To ensure that all raw materials, supplies and Sundry items are ordered and stored correctly, maintaining high quality stock rotation and stock levels, control, security thus avoiding unnecessary wastage and ensuring expenditure is within budget and preventing stock shortages.
    9. To help ensure safety and hygiene standards maintained.
    10. To maintain satisfactory security of all company assets, cash, stock, equipment, fixtures and premises.
    11. To deal with members complaints or problems immediately and to take the necessary remedial action. Report any serious complaints, actions or problems to the kitchen management without delay.
    12. To train and develop all junior staff to company standards and participating in any training or career promotion development recommended by management.

    Senior Cook (Italian Kitchen)

    Department: Food & Beverage

    Job Summary :

    • To ensure accurate and regular communication is taking place departmentally and interdepartmentally complying with the club policies on departmental meetings.

    Sous Chef (Coffee Shop/ Chinese/ Cold Kitchen)

    Department: Food & Beverage

    Job Summary  :

    • To ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the kitchens.
    • Responsible for efficient control, stocking, dispensing and security of all commodities in the kitchens.
    • Ensure that the service of food is completely to members satisfaction and to the standard required by the company.
    • Striving to delight our members and guests each and every time.

    Major duties and responsibilities  :

    • To train the junior staff members to standards required by the Club.
    • To ensure good liaison with peers and management.
    • To play a part in ensuring that your department operates efficiently and meets or exceeds members satisfaction.
    • To recommend improvements and changes to the Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef.
    • To work towards achieving agreed objectives and targets.
    • To take responsibility for the day to day operation of the kitchen, making decisions when required.
    • To assist in production of daily and weekly menus as required.
    • To meet and follow hygiene  policies and guidelines
